Bryan Buenacosa-Brooks he/him

Born and raised in North Carolina, Bryan Buenacosa-Brooks is a skilled wrangler of people and projects who has the ability to balance visionary thinking with finely detailed management to ensure jobs run smoothly from concept to completion.

Prior to joining HUB, Buenacosa-Brooks served as an Americorps VISTA at Epicenter, a rural Utah community design center where he currently serves on the board of directors. He holds an MArch from the University of Washington where he also taught architectural representation studios.

The HUB team says that Bryan is brilliant, witty, talented, diligent, industrious, and generous!

Zack Custer he/him

A “builder and a craftsman,” Zack has over 20 years of experience working in house for large companies as well as for smaller established agencies; building stories, brand identities, and emotional connections for both international companies and emerging local businesses. Inspired by his passion for creating 3 course meals, rc multi rotors, and the perfect cocktail, Zack approaches each project with a scientific and mathematical mind while bringing a level of craftsmanship to the finished product.

Jen Guibord she/her

Jen is driven by a love of content. Her belief is that all the best ideas come from the client and that a good idea can come from anywhere - you just have to recognize it when you hear it. Jen took a long a winding road to arrive at her position, working as a research assistant at the Smithsonian’s Natural History Museum before joining Second Story Interactive Studios and producing a wide array of interactive and immersive installations.

She is a homebody, a hiker, a baker, and costume artist. A Mainer living a life in exile in the Pacific Northwest.

The HUB team says that Jen is insightful, committed, playful, original, resourceful, persistent, and analytical!

Colleen Fulford she/her

Colleen Fulford believes that extraordinary ideas come to people who aren’t afraid to take chances. So that’s how she rolls, both in life and in her work. A Portland native, Colleen is a self-motivated designer who is constantly refining her creative process.

Her specialties span brand identities, collateral, publications, typography, packaging, installations, design, and pre-press preparation. In other words, she’s very good at just about anything a project requires. In her free time, Colleen enjoys Oregon-esque activities like snowboarding and fly fishing; she also throws themed parties that are nothing short of legendary.

The HUB team says that Colleen is clever, outspoken, quick-witted, compassionate, authentic, and the life of the party!

Christine Gallagher she/her

Christine’s background is in higher education—she spent the first 16 years of her career helping to shape the processes, thinking and skills of graphic design students.

Christine holds an MFA in Graphic Design from RISD, her favorite number is nine, she is a devourer of audio books, and hates being cold.

The HUB team says that Christine is curious, mirthful, inquisitive, constructive, diligent, and stylish!

Lindsey Hammond Charlet she/her

Getting to the core of a challenge is what drives Lindsey’s curiosity about what makes things work and how things are connected. It’s what lights her up about design.

Faith Hardersen she/her

Faith was born and raised near the foothills of Mt. Rainier and still calls the area home today. She applies her background in marketing and economics to gather and quickly analyze the right data to define target audience and markets and creative methods to reach them. If you are on the hunt for a witty hashtag, Faith is your girl.

When she is not at her desk you can probably find her heading to one of the Disney Parks, or in a ceramics studio making pots for one of her many houseplants.

The HUB team says that Faith is effervescent, kind, bright-n-cheery, vivacious, empathetic and optimistic!

Makenna Sullivan she/her

Though her career began in illustration, Makenna was quickly drawn to the transformative power of design as a channel through which imagination can become reality. Her favorite kinds of projects involve anything that challenges preconceived tastes and assumptions. Her guiding beliefs are that there is opportunity for art everywhere and inside every person, especially where you wouldn’t normally expect it, and if you’re not having fun, you’re doing it wrong.

Ruvini Wijesekera she/her

Ruvini specializes in brand identity, packaging and illustration and enjoys creating simple, thoughtful and holistic brand systems. Things that bring her joy include forest bathing, chai lattes (the spicier the better!), and conversations with her cats.

The HUB team says that Runvini is refined, jovial, elevated, adventurous, approachable, and assured!
