There is no doubt that a juice craze has swept the world, and we get it…what’s not to love? Following the heightened demand for fresh bottled goodness came a smorgasbord of new juice brands to LA’s health food market— each with similar ingredients, and each making the claim to be the healthiest, tastiest option. In order to evoke the enduring quality of the brand, we started by exchanging the typical photographic treatment of the ingredients for a fresh take on victorian line art, adding a layered mix of gradient and solid color fill. To further set apart the design from that of it’s shelf mates, the illustration was set on an opaque background. The stark contrast conveys freshness as the rich colors of the juice pop against the white.
