Summer in Minnesota is all about two things: fishing and baseball. As part of the build up to the annual retailer event at the MLB All-Star game HUB conceived and created a series of progressively complex invites and giveaways. First out of the gate was a “Fresh Catch” hanky with the event logo silkscreened on one side and wrapped around a laser-engraved wooden card introducing the theme. The whole package was spritzed with an outdoor campfire scent to provide an additional sensory experience. Next, the Save the Date package included an old-school hat, perfect for catching a fly ball or wearing on a fishing trip. Then finally, the invitation series culminated with a custom growler and beer-battered fish kit—for celebrating the big win and the big catch.
